Prof. Dr. Saffa Riffat, DPhil (Oxford), DSc (Oxford), Emeritus Professor at the University of Nottingham, has secured over £120 million in research grants, authored more than 650 refereed papers, holds 30 international patents, was elected Fellow of the European Academy of Sciences, and won the Euro Solar Prize, Energy Globe Award, UK Engineering and Innovation Awards, Rushlight Awards and the CIBSE Baker Silver Medal; he serves as President of WSSET, Chairman of the SET Conference and Editor-in-Chief of several high-impact academic journals.

Professor Xudong Zhao, University of Hull, United Kingdom 
Professor Xudong Zhao is a globally recognised engineer specialising in sustainable building services, renewable energy systems, and energy efficiency technologies. Over a career spanning more than 30 years, he has led or contributed to 58 research projects worth £18.5 million and 40 engineering consultancy projects worth £5 million, and he is the inventor on 11 patents. His work combines academic research with practical engineering applications to advance sustainable energy solutions worldwide.

Prof. Dr. James Riffat is an engineer specialising in sustainable energy systems, building technologies, and climate-focused solutions. He is CEO of the World Society of Sustainable Energy Technologies (WSSET), organiser of the annual Sustainable Energy Technologies (SET) conference, and Professor at Guangzhou Vocational University of Science and Technology. In addition to serving as editor for several international journals, he is committed to advancing engineering innovation, practical climate solutions, and international research collaboration.

Dr. Ziwei Chen, University of Nottingham, United Kingdom

Dr. Ziwei Chen is Secretary of WSSET and Senior Research Fellow in the Buildings, Energy and Environment Research Group at the University of Nottingham. Her research focuses on thermochemical energy storage and membrane-based dehumidification, and she has contributed to multiple UK and EU-funded engineering projects in these areas. She has published widely in leading journals, advancing knowledge in building energy technologies and sustainable environmental engineering.
