Affiliation with WSSET
To encourage the dissemination of impactful work, WSSET has formal agreements with several leading journals, including Journal of Climate Change , to offer discounted publication fees for selected papers. This initiative supports researchers in publishing high-quality studies that align with global sustainability goals, particularly in areas related to urban development and environmental performance.
Members of WSSET receive a 10% discount on the Article Processing Charge on submission of an official membership certificate.
The journal's Editor-in-Chief, Professor Saffa Riffat, is President of WSSET. Associate Editor Professor James Riffat is Chief Executive Officer of WSSET. Associate Editor Dr Ziwei Chen is Secretary General of WSSET.
This affiliation does not affect editorial decisions. Manuscripts are assessed on academic merit alone, and WSSET has no role in the peer review or acceptance of individual submissions. Where an author holds a position within WSSET or on the journal's editorial team, the competing interest is declared in the published article and the manuscript is handled by an editor independent of the journal and of WSSET.
